ABU DHABI THEME PARK

November 15, 2018
At the start of 2018, Drakken was given the opportunity to lend its expertise gained from an Oil and Gas background and recent MEP experience to commission one of Abu Dhabi’s most recent major projects, the Warner Bros World Theme Park.  As the deadline for opening day loomed, the project was in need of an effective solution to put final electrical commissioning back on track and hit the high profile target dates.

“This project was a perfect opportunity for Drakken to showcase its ability to achieve difficult targets by utilizing an approach that Drakken has developed and refined over multiple projects and industries,” said Marcel Bruyere VP Construction Execution. He added, "The experience and dedication our technicians brought to the project provided a more effective commissioning team, which successfully completed final commissioning and deficiency rectification to make critical milestones possible.  It was important for Drakken, as well as everyone involved in the project, that the park opened on schedule.”

The third Drakken project to be completed in Abu Dhabi, it was the first time working with Six Construct, one of the regions most prestigious building and civil contractors and the largest Belgian construction company operating in the Middle East.
