DRAKKEN COMMISSIONS IRAQI GIANT

"The Garraf field delivered first oil on Aug 31, marking the first greenfield project for Iraq a decade after the war, a major accomplishment and a tribute to the hard work of all involved on the team.”  Drakken’s project team consisted of a peak commissioning team of 65 technicians and engineers on site, engineering and project management in Dubai and supply chain management throughout North America and the Middle East.

About the project

The facility is a conventional gas oil separation facility in one of the Iraqi super giant fields, being developed through a multi-phase approach. Phase 1 has a design capacity of 100,000 barrels of oil per day and 10MMSCFD of gas. The facility has integrated oil and produced water storage, and pipeline export capability.
