Drakken completes construction activities on offshore production facility

Drakken, a fully integrated supplier of project services to the global energy industry, is pleased to announce completion of construction activities aboard a major integrated offshore production facility.

"After 18 months of hard work, we are excited to see this project move to the next stage - offshore installation and commissioning" Commented Ryan Arsenault, Drakken Director. "With over 60,000 hours of electrical manpower supervised, 8 mW of power distribution and one of the worlds first major installations of Emerson's DeltaV version 11 hardware, this project has been very challenging and rewarding for the entire project team" added Arsenault. "We are very excited to continue to support the project as it transitions to West Africa for commissioning."

Planned for operation in the Gulf of Guinea, the facility is capable of 100,000bbl/day of oil processing, 30MMSCF/d gas processing, and high pressure water injection.
